Civil Aviation Minister to arrive in M’laya today

SHILLONG, Nov 13: Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu, will be on a two-day visit to Meghalaya on November 14-15 to participate in key aviation and regional events as part of his tour.
The minister, on Thursday, will launch the demo seaplane operations at Umiam Lake in Ri-Bhoi. This will be followed by his participation in the 6th Helicopters and Small Aircraft Summit in Shillong, organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in association with Meghalaya government Pawan Hans Ltd., and FICCI.
Later, he will attend the North East Region Programme organised by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
On November 15, the Union minister will continue his engagements by attending the 2nd North East Aviation Summit and participating in the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas celebrations at the State Central Library in Shillong.
