Arunachal cops apprehend Ri-Bhoi village headman

NONGPOH, Dec 5: Badhok Nongmalieh, the headman of Mawtnum village in Ri-Bhoi, was arrested on Wednesday night by a team from Itanagar Police Station, Arunachal Pradesh.
The arrest was carried out within the jurisdiction of Nongpoh Police Station, following a Non-Bailable Warrant of Arrest (NBWA) issued by the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Yupia, Arunachal Pradesh.
The operation was conducted smoothly, with close coordination between the Police departments of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
However, details regarding the case and the warrant remain unclear as authorities prepare to proceed with further legal processes in Yupia.
