NEC Plenary to be held in Tripura on Dec 20, 21

SHILLONG, Dec 14: The 72nd Plenary of the North Eastern Council (NEC) Secretariat will be held in Agartala, Tripura, on December 20 and 21.
The plenary session on December 21 at Pragna Bhaban will be presided over by Union Home Minister and Chairman of the NEC, Amit Shah, DoNER Minister and Vice Chairman of the NEC, Jyotiraditya M Scindia, along with Minister of State for DoNER, Dr Sukanta Majumdar. Governors and Chief Ministers from all Northeastern states will be present at the two-day event, along with two NEC members.
On December 21, the Pre-Plenary technical session will be held at Hotel Polo Tower, chaired by Dr Sukanta Majumdar, with participation from Secretaries of various Union Ministries, Chief Secretaries of North Eastern States, and senior officers from the Planning departments.
