Induction
The Umroi Block Congress Committee will induct the Umroi Constituency Progressive Forum (UCPF) into the party during an event at Umroi on Friday. Former leaders of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) from Umroi constituency last year had launched the UCPF, aiming to field an independent candidate for the MDC elections.
Condolence
A condolence meeting was held on Thursday at Harisabha temple to pay tribute to the advisor of Harisabha Managing Committee, (L) GK Nath, and offer condolences to his family members. During the meeting, members Nath’s contributions to the Harisabha temple were recalled and a one-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
