Police recover 3 stolen bikes, arrest two

SHILLONG, Jan 8: Three stolen bikes, two from Shillong and one from Assam, were intercepted by Mawsynram police, and two individuals — Sengku M Marak (24) and Cornalius Mukhim (18) — were arrested.
According to the police, one of the riders attempted to evade the check, leading to a chase. The suspect eventually abandoned the bike and fled the scene.
The three recovered bikes have the registration numbers AS19 N 8664, ML05 AD 3852, and ML05 AE 1218.
