State govt effects major bureaucratic reshuffle

SHILLONG, Jan 24: The state government on Friday effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle.
Principal Secretary of Arts & Culture Department, FR Kharkongor will now also function as Principal Secretary of Home (Police) and Home (Political) departments.
RC Sohkhlet, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Cooperation and Tourism, has been relieved of her functions as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Cooperation Department. Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Education, Swapnil Tembe shall also function as Director, Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI).
Ramkumar S, Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare etc., departments and Director, MATI is relieved of his functions as Director, MATI.
TG Momin, Additional Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, shall also function as Additional Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Personnel & AR Department.
Abhinav Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills district in place of BS Sohliya who has been transferred and posted as Director of Information and Public Relations.
Anita Kharpor, Additional Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Personnel & AR Department, and Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs etc., has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills district in place of Mitali Chandra who has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Social Welfare Department.
Abhishek Saini, Additional Deputy Commissioner, in-charge of Amlarem (Civil) sub-division, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills district.
Richard Yanthan, Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills district, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare, Community & Rural Development and Power departments.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, in-charge of Dadenggre (Civil) sub-division, Sumit Kumar Singh has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills district.
Kum Anendya Raajsshre, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), East Khasi Hills district, Shillong has been transferred and posted as Sub Divisional Officer Amlarem (Civil) sub-division, Amlarem.
Aditya Verma, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), East Jaintia Hills district, Khliehriat has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Officer Dadenggre (Civil) sub-division, Dadenggre.
Manish Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), West Garo Hills district, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Officer, Jengjal (Civil) Sub-Division.
Dr Twinkle SR Marak, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Joint Director, MATI etc., has been relieved of her functions as Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department.
