The earlier match of the day saw Nangkiew Irat SC split points with Langsning FC following a 1-1 draw.
Rangdajied scored twice in under ten minutes through Owanijuh Pajuh (6’) and Arlangky Nongsiej (9’) and rubbed further salt into Nongrim Hills’ wounds with two more goals in the first half thanks to Dibormi Kassar (26’) and Owanijuh (34’) again.
In the second half, a cross from Aenam Jyrwa was tapped in by Freddy B Jyrwa (68’) before Manbhakupar Iawphniaw (77’) took control of a through ball and ran with it from his own half all the way into the Nongrim Hills box before firing in low past the goalkeeper.
Rangdajied United FC had also won the reverse fixture on November 8 by the narrower margin of 1-0.
In the first match, Rhitso Mero (25’) scored first for Langsning in his first match for the team. Langsning, who lost the reverse fixture 3-1 on October 29, looked like they would hold on for the victory but Jefferson Pakyntein (90’+2) delivered the equaliser in stoppage time to the relief of his Nangkiew Irat team mates.
The next SPL match will take place on Tuesday between Sawmer SC and Laitkor SC at 2:30pm.
