Rangdajied had won the first leg fixture 3-0 on October 30.
With this victory, Langsning FC have strengthened their push for a strong finish in the Shillong Premier League, showing remarkable improvement in the second leg of the competition.
Their seven points from three matches highlight a newfound consistency, which could prove crucial as the tournament nears its final stages.
Rhitso Mero’s impressive form, with goals in back-to-back matches, is a positive sign for the team, while their defensive solidity ensured Nongthymmai’s struggles continued.
For Nongthymmai SC, this latest defeat leaves them in a precarious position, with time running out to escape the relegation zone.
Their inability to convert key chances, coupled with defensive lapses, has been their undoing in recent fixtures.
With crucial games ahead, they will need to regroup quickly if they hope to turn their fortunes around.
Meanwhile, the league action continues with Rangdajied United FC set to face Ryntih FC on Thursday, a matchup that could have significant implications for the standings as the race for the top spots intensifies.
