JHADC records better voters’ turnout till 3 pm

Shillong, Feb 21: Around 60 per cent turned out to vote in the election to the today till 3 pm while the polling in election to JHADC recorded a slightly higher turnout of 70 per cent.

Commission and Secretary of District council Affairs CVD Diengdoh informed that violence was reported in four polling stations in East Jaintia Hills after mobs damaged the EVMs and repolling would be held tomorrow from 7 am in these four polling stations with strict security measures
