Rotary Club Shillong Heritage fetes prominent individuals

SHILLONG, March 8: The Rotary Club Shillong Heritage organised a vocational awards function recognising the contributions made by prominent citizens.
At a function held at the State Convention Centre on Thursday, Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya Sampath Kumar was the chief guest.
Rotary Club Shillong Heritage awarded Phikaralin Wanshnong (Food Entrepreneur), Sunil Bajoria Trustee-in-charge of Kamakhyalal Bajoria Charitable Trust, Redeem Tlang (Indian Professional Footballer), Dr Chayanika Sarma (MBBS, MD), Bharat Sewashram, Shillong (Organisation), Airikmenlang Shabong (Indian Army Wrestler) and Ajay Agarwala (Social Worker) for their contributions.
The chief guest lauded the Rotary Club Shillong Heritage for recognising the contributions made by the individual to society. He also said it was only through a concerted effort by individuals and organisations that results could be achieved.
It may be mentioned that Rotary Club Shillong Heritage is led by its President Rtn Vikash Chokhani.
