SHILLONG, March 22: Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre awarded certificates to its 109th batch of computer trainees and 47th batch of language students at a convocation ceremony here, on Saturday.
A total of 317 certificates were awarded to the meritorious students at the function.
The centre trains approximately 6,000 individuals annually in various computer courses across five sessions.
The current convocation recognized the accomplishments of around 400 trainees from diverse northeastern states.
Swami Yogatmananda, Minister in charge, of the Vedanta Society of Providence, USA inspired young students to apply technical education to practical life. He also asserted that wisdom and character building should be the driving force of all learning to make a meaningful life for individuals.
Swami Vedeshananda Director of Academics congratulated the students on their achievement and encouraged them to stay motivated. He reminded them of the importance of living with integrity and inspired them to draw from the wisdom of Swami Vivekananda, empowering them to make a positive impact.
