SHILLONG, April 26: Students of Army Public School (APS) Shillong unveiled their travel book titled ‘Meghalaya–Through the Prism of the Youth’ during a special ceremony held on Friday.
The event was attended by Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh as the chief guest.
Lyngdoh, who released the book, commended the students for their initiative in exploring and documenting the beauty and diversity of Meghalaya through a youthful lens.
On the occasion, Lyngdoh also announced that the Tourism department would adopt the book as a reference for future use.
In his address, Lyngdoh praised the project, describing it as a unique approach to promoting tourism and fostering a stronger connection between the youth and their cultural heritage. “This is a great example of how education can be combined with exploration and expression,” he said.
