JOWAI, May 28: The Sports & Youth Sub-Committee of the War Jaiñtia Students’ Union (WJSU) organised a friendly football match between Shillong’s Langsning FC and Amlarem SC, Amlarem at the League Ground (Shinglamin Ryngksai), Dawki, on Tuesday.
Amlarem took an early lead with goals from Marshal Nongrum (37th and 39th minutes). Pdianghun Suting extended lead in the 52nd minute for the War Jaiñtia champions.
The scored remained unchanged at the final whistle, ensuring a 3–0 win for Amlarem SC.
Langsning FC was led by Head Coach Khainpyrkhat Syiemlieh, while the Champion of the First War Jaiñtia Invitation Football Tournament 2025, Amlarem SC, was led by Club President Dikermen Surong.
Henry Manner, President of the War Jaiñtia Owner & Drivers Truck Association, Amlarem; Army Lipon, President of the Synjuk Waheh Shnong Ri Jaiñtia, and I-League player Phrangki Buam were among the guests who graced the occasion.
