5K Run held in EKH to raise awareness

Shillong, June 3: The Shillong Golf Club teemed with energy and determination early Tuesday morning as athletes, students, youth organisations, NGOs, and concerned citizens gathered for a 5K Run aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse.
Organised by the Office of the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), East Khasi Hills, in coordination with the District Administration, District Sports Office, and East Khasi Hills District Athletics Association, the event formed part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
In the Female 5K Open Category, Miss Monlangki Kyndait secured the first position, followed by Miss Mary Queen Pale in second place and Miss Rukini R.T Dkhar in third. In the Male 5K Open Category, Mr. Knerlang Phawa clinched the top spot, with Mr. Marshal Wanniang finishing second and Mr. Rangki Jonathan Pathaw taking third place.
