Littler Star School becomes first team to qualify for semis

Shillong, July 2: Littler Star English Medium Secondary School of Eastern West Khasi Hills become the first team to qualify for the semifinals from the U-15 boys’ category of the State Level Subroto Cup 2025 football tournament, on Wednesday.
Littler Star won 4-0 against Government Boys Higher Secondary School of West Garo Hills today, which followed from their 3-0 win against the Govt HSS Baghmara (South Garo Hills) on Tuesday.
The tournament began here on Tuesday, bringing together the best schools from the 12 districts of Meghalaya. The tournament will run until July 5 and is being organised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs at three venues in Shillong – the SAI Centre in NEHU (U-15 boys), SSA Stadium in Polo (U-17 boys) and Mawlai Madan Heh (U-17 girls).
