SHILLONG, July 6: A police team bringing 31-year-old Janice Angel Mary Sawian from Uttar Pradesh is expected to reach here on Monday.
Janice was reported missing on July 1 by her family who lodged a complaint at Nongmensong police station.
On Friday morning, she was found near a railway track in Uttar Pradesh, where she was taken into custody by local police authorities.
While details about how she reached Uttar Pradesh are sketchy, it is hoped that counselling at the one-stop centre is expected to clear the air over the incident.
