KYIV, July 6: Russia and Ukraine exchanged hundreds of drone strikes, disrupting Russian air travel with delays and cancellations at major airports like Moscow’s Sheremetyevo and St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo.
Russia shot down over 150 Ukrainian drones during attacks that injured civilians near the Belgorod region. Earlier, Russia launched its largest drone and missile assault on Ukraine, killing and injuring civilians in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and eastern towns.
The strikes also damaged port infrastructure in Mykolaiv. This ongoing drone warfare highlights intense fighting along the roughly 1,000-kilometer frontline in the over three-year conflict. (AP)
