Theft
Henrick Ch Sangma lodged a complaint that on July 19 around 8 am, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle from Photkroh Market, SWKH.
Daniel Surong Jyrwa, proprietor of the Computer Store, GS Road, lodged a complaint that on July 18 circa 7.07 pm, one unknown miscreant stole one laptop from his store.
Brahmal Hajong lodged a complaint that on the night of July 20 and 21, unknown miscreant(s) stole cables valued around Rs. 36,000 from a site at Chengkompara Water Supply Scheme, SWGH.
Benny Fred Mylliemngap lodged a complaint that on July 19 circa 8 am, he found that unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-05N-8849) from his residence at 3rd Mile Umlyngka, Upper Shillong.
Dashanskhem Nongkynrih lodged a complaint that on July 20, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter (ML-05X-5309) from his residence at Mawlai Umjaiur Block-II, Shillong.
Darisha Syiemiong lodged a complaint that on July 20, unknown miscreant(s) stole her scooter (ML-10C-6448) from her residence at Mawlai Umjapung Tariang Block-B, Shillong.
Rishanlang Marak lodged a complaint that on Jul 19, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter (ML-05V-8574) from his residence at Pynthorumkhrah Block-II, Shillong.

Break-in
Philahunlang Kharbuli lodged a complaint that on July 22 circa 4.42 am, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her shop at Mawlai Mawdatbaki Nongpathaw, Shillong, and stole cigarettes valued around Rs. 15,000, one wooden cash box containing cash Rs. 1,500 and two jugs containing Rs. 3,000 in cash.
On July 21 evening, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the rented house of Rosy Mameirakpam at Upland Road, Shillong, and committed theft.
Headmaster-cum-Secretary of Simsang Bokmangre SSA UP School, SWGH, lodged a complaint that on July 19 night, unknown miscreant(s) broke into school kitchen and stole several utensils.

Seizure
On July 22, acting on inputs, police intercepted one truck (AS-01SC-6510), driven by Banteilang Kharbangar at 7th Mile junction, Upper Shillong, and recovered/seized 21 heads of cattle without proper documents.
A complaint was lodged that on July 20 circa 6.20 am, acting on inputs, police conducted search in a house at Lower Phulbari, WGH, which was rented out to three individuals, viz. Rochan Ali (24), Rofikul Rahman (31) and Abhijit Rabha (24) of Assam and recovered/seized 95.78 grams of suspected heroin, Rs. 1,53,790 in cash, two empty vials, two iPhones, one keypad mobile phone, etc. from their possession.
Two-wheeler recovery
Bobbyland Lyngkhoi informed Police that on Jul 22 afternoon, his motorcycle (ML-05T-0816) was found missing from Amlympiang Waterfall, WJH. However, around 4.35 pm, Dawki Police recovered the motorcycle from a jungle near Kharlamin village.

Threat
Rajibul Islam of Assam lodged a complaint that on July 19 at about 8 pm, three unidentified persons hired his vehicle (AS-25BC-6481) from Jalukbari, Guwahati, Assam for Phulbari, WGH. Around 2.07 am, on reaching at Phulbari, the trio requested him to drop them to Bhaitbari, WGH. However, on reaching Bhaitbari area, the trio created nuisance, threatened the driver with dire consequences and also forcibly took away Rs. 6,700 from him.

Assault
On July 20 morning, unidentified miscreant(s) assaulted one Marshal Kharkongor (19) at Laitkor, Shillong.

Delivery failure
A male resident of a village in West Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that on February 13, 2025, he ordered one RTX 5090 Founder Edition Graphics card and paid Rs. 2.05 lakh online to one Chetan Sanjay Durbude, and the seller promised to deliver the item by April, 2025. However, till date, the seller failed to deliver the item.
