MCA names 25-member shortlist for senior women’s team

Shillong, July 28: The senior women’s selection committee of the Meghalaya Cricket Association has published a 25-member shortlist of players for its senior women’s cricket team that will represent the state in BCCI domestic tournaments in the 2025-26 season.
The Meghalaya Cricket Association selectors based the list after considering the players’ performances at selection trial matches held recently as well as their achievements during the 2024-25 and 2023-24 seasons.
The list of 25 will be further whittled down through a final set of selection and preparatory camps in early September. In the interim, the 25 players have been advised to continue to train and practice on their own.
The women’s cricket season will begin with the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy from 8 October, followed by the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy from 6 February.
Shortlisted players: Luiza Tamang, Daiaka E Warjri, Suruti Kumari Ray, Ankita Sharma, Indariakor Kharwanniang, Debasmita Dutta, Neha Hajong, Ruby Chettri, Solina Jaba, Mansi Anand, Ajima A Sangma, Deiphibapynshngain L Mawnai, Sandria K Momin, Monica L Phawa, Riticia Nongbet, Monycable Marbaniang, Sildamicresha Marbaniang, Rebeldalis Syiemlieh, Blaridahun Dkhar, Sistilin Ryntathiang, Dianchidora Sangma, Janika Marak, Pilika Marak, Ritreki Pohshna, Dubleen Nengnong
