Shillong, Aug 16: The East Khasi Hills District Yogasana Sports Association, in collaboration with YESS!! Meghalaya, and supported by the Office of the District Sports Officer, East Khasi Hills, along with the Meghalaya Yogasana Sports Association, successfully hosted the 5th District Level Yogasana Sports Championship 2025 at the Youth Hostel, Shillong, on Saturday.
The event was graced by Sri Finely Pariat, General Secretary of the Meghalaya State Olympic Association, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The championship featured 12 Yogasana sports events, providing a competitive platform for 23 young athletes, both boys and girls, to showcase their skills.
The meet also served as a qualifier for the upcoming State Level Yogasana Sports Championship, scheduled to be held next month.
The programme concluded with a medal distribution ceremony, followed by the handing over of participation certificates to all athletes.
