Shillong, Sep 30: Shillong Vidyalaya proudly marked its 75th anniversary with a vibrant day of inter-school competitions in elocution, storytelling, and quiz, supported by NESkills.
In elocution (Classes 6–8), Catherine Shadap of Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School won the first prize, Deibormi G. Myrthong of Dainty Buds Secondary School won the second position, and Starryna Teronpi of Rilbong P.N. Choudhuri H.S. School won third place.
In storytelling for students of Classes 9–10, Buhbhami Shylla of Shillong Vidyalaya Secondary School won the first prize, Shaniahskhem Phalangki of Shillong Vidyalaya Secondary School won second position, and Daniel Shabong of Dainty Buds Secondary School won third place.
In the Quiz competition for students of Classes 9–10, Anesh Das & Ebyntami Shylla – Shillong Vidyalaya Secondary School won the first prize, Dioni Ch. Marak & Simran Kumari of Shishu Mandir Secondary School won second position.
