JOWAI, Nov 4: An unidentified human skeleton was discovered at Rachi Forest in Mookyndur village, West Jaintia Hills, on Thursday.
According to police, the skeletal remains were found during an inspection of the area, following which all necessary formalities were carried out and an inquest conducted. However, the identity of the deceased remains unknown.
At the site, investigators recovered a few personal items, including a red thread, three keys, and a safety pin, which were found near the skeleton.
