Complaint submission

The District Grievances Redressal Officer, Ri-Bhoi District, has informed that under the Central Public Grievances Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) and the functioning of the District Grievances Redressal Mechanism, aggrieved consumers or beneficiaries may submit complaints at the Office of the District Grievances Redressal Officer, Ri-Bhoi, from the 1st to the end of every month during office hours in Room No.108. Complaints may also be submitted online via CPGRAMS at http://pgportal.gov.in, or through the toll-free number 18003453670.

Lok Adalat

The Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ri-Bhoi, has informed that the National Lok Adalat will be held for all types of cases at the office of the District & Sessions Court, Nongpoh, from 10 am onwards on Saturday. In this regard, all concerned parties have been asked to participate in the upcoming National Lok Adalat, either physically or virtually.

Celebration

The YMCA Shillong organised its pre-Christmas celebration on Wednesday at the Bharat Scouts and Guides Hall. Shillong YMCA general secretary, JR Myrboh, delivered the welcome address and welcomed all the board members, students, staff and the regional secretary, Shamir J. Thabah, along with his family. The Christmas message was delivered by Board Director Rev. R. Marshall Lyngdoh, who reminded everyone about the true meaning of Christmas, emphasising that it is not only about decorations, lights or cake but the day Jesus Christ was born.

Cleaning drives

The Dorbar Shnong Qualapatty, together with the Qualapatty Sports, Social and Cultural Club, will organise a cleaning drive from 8 am onwards on Saturday. In this regard, all residents have been asked to participate in the same. Furthermore, all shops within the jurisdiction of the Dorbar Shnong Qualapatty have been asked to remain closed. Entry of vehicles from outside the locality will not be permitted into the locality until the cleaning drive is completed.
The Dorbar Shnong Laban will organise a cleaning drive from 8 am to 12 noon on December 18. In this regard, all residents have been asked to participate in the cleaning drive.
