A large section of the fencing wall at Matri Mandir, Polo Ground, that collapsed on Monday following alleged indiscriminate earth cutting nearby. The collapse has endangered devotees and damaged temple property. The incident occurred adjacent to the Orchid Hotel Polo premises, where M/s Giriraj Construction is constructing a multi-storied hotel. Reports indicate that earlier construction activities had also caused damage to the temple property. (ST)
