SHILLONG, April 15: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), East Khasi Hills, has initiated the creation of a comprehensive database of drone resources to strengthen disaster preparedness and response mechanisms in the district.
According to a statement here, all government departments, private individuals and organisations owning drones have been asked to submit details of their available assets to the DDMA.
The information required for the database includes the total number of drones available, their specific types or models and their usual location or area of operation.
Submissions must also include the name of the owner or department along with contact details, including a mobile number and email address.
