Andy TG Lyngdoh has been awarded PhD in Geography by the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for his thesis titled ‘Assessment of Changes in Agro-based Livelihood Practices in Ri Bhoi District, Meghalaya’, which he completed under the supervision of Dr S Purkayastha. He is a resident of Laban-Lower Lumparing and the son of Inamorata Marbaniang and the grandson of Mount Everest Kharwanlang.
