Kermiki Pdang lodged a complaint that on April 14 night, miscreant(s) stole a Mahindra pick-up (MZ-06-2818) belonging to his brother from Dkhiah West village, East Jaintia Hills.
Bengia Fagar lodged a complaint that on April 13, circa 10 pm, miscreant(s) stole his scooter (AR-01P-8067) from New Colony, Shillong.
Bihun N Marak lodged a complaint that on April 15 around noon, an unidentified person took his motorcycle (AS-16D-0984) at Warimagre in East Garo Hills on the pretext of going to market and failed to return it back.
B’deshi nationals nabbed
On April 14, around 9.50 pm, police conducted checking at a place under Mawngap Police Station in East Khasi Hills and intercepted a tourist vehicle (ML-05T-8661) driven by Ialambor Mawlong with three Bangladeshi nationals viz., Tahera Sheik (20), Muishida Khanum (29) and Sahinur Begum (29) onboard. They were proceeding towards Guwahati Railway Station, reportedly with the intention to further proceed to Gujarat, Bangaluru, etc., in search of jobs.
