Sweeney insisted on keeping key Euphoria scenes
Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney insisted that scenes central to her character’s storyline remain in the final season of Euphoria, creator Sam Levinson has revealed. Levinson said he initially considered filming Cassie’s OnlyFans storyline without nudity, but Sweeney argued that it would not be authentic to the character. Cassie becomes an OnlyFans model in the show’s final season as she tries to save money for her dream wedding to Nate, played by Jacob Elordi. The filmmaker praised Sweeney as “fearless” and highly professional, saying her perspective convinced him to keep the scenes. Levinson added that the storyline reflected themes of social media, self-branding and the search for external validation. After the season finale aired on May 31, Sweeney appeared to defend the creative choices by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the series on Instagram. (IANS)
