The trailer launch of Cocktail 2 in Mumbai on Tuesday was marred by chaos and complaints of poor event management.
The main issue arose from seating arrangements, with influencers reportedly given priority over media representatives, leading to dissatisfaction among journalists.
The venue was also overcrowded, making it difficult for attendees to see and hear the cast and filmmakers on stage.
The situation worsened when members of the electronic media boycotted the event after failing to receive the official event feed.
A poor sound system further hampered communication, making it difficult for many attendees to follow conversations during the launch.
Despite the disruptions, the trailer for Cocktail 2 was unveiled, offering a glimpse into a modern relationship drama set against a vibrant summer backdrop.
The film stars Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
A sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail, the film features a new cast and story. Written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, and directed by Homi Adajania, the movie explores themes of love, friendship and modern relationships.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, Cocktail 2 is scheduled for release in cinemas on June 19. (IANS)
