SHILLONG, June 22: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Jaintia Hills, in collaboration with the District Agriculture Offices of West and East Jaintia Hills, recently organised PM-Kisan Utsav Diwas at the KVK premises in Wahiajer, West Jaintia Hills.
The event marked the release of the 23rd instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme by the Prime Minister through a hybrid mode. MB Rymbai, MDC of Amwi Khliehtyrshi, attended the programme as the chief guest.

(Contd from P-3) while G Nongdtu, Assistant Director of Agriculture (FTI), briefed farmers on eligibility criteria and the procedures to access benefits.
The programme included an interactive session where farmers from both districts sought technical and scientific guidance from agricultural experts. Additionally, agricultural inputs were distributed to participants to encourage the adoption of improved farming technologies and practices.
