NONGSTOIN: Five singers from South West Khasi Hills

were shortlisted in the first audition of the Voice Hunt organized by A=Apple Society and the District Arts & Culture Society in Mawkyrwat on Saturday.

The selected singers are Iarisha Lyngkhoi, Ibanrilin Lyngkhoi, Lapdianghun Nongsiej, Lambhalang Marbaniang and Medapynhun Suting.

The five contestants will be among the top 20 contestants who will battle it out tomreach the next level in January.

Programe Co-ordinator of the Society announced that the second audition of the event will be held at Mairang on December 22.
