PM pays tributes to Guru Ravidas

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tributes to Guru Ravi-das on the occasion of his birth anniversary, saying his teachings on equality and brotherhood were a “great inspiration”. “On his Jayanti, tributes to Guru Ravidas ji.
Guru Ravidas ji’s teachings on equality and brotherhood in society are a great inspiration for us,” the Prime Minister said. He saluted Guru Ravidas’ efforts to fight the ills of society. President Pranab Mukherjee had on Monday greeted the countrymen on the eve of Guru Ravidas Jayanti and had asked them to re-dedicate themselves towards building a caste-less society. (PTI)
