SHILLONG: One labourer died in a freak mishap when a boulder fell on him while he was working at a stone quarry at Jolsyiem under Khanapara, Ri-Bhoi District, on May 12 around 4.30 pm.
The labourer, identified as one Munse Habrom, died on the spot.
Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to Civil Hospital Nongpoh for post mortem.
Police are inquiring into the matter.
