Meanwhile, St. Anthony’s College has clarified that ChangeNGO did not organize the conference as reported in a section of the press.
“ChangeNGO is in fact only one of the many participating organisations at the conference which was given a platform to present their point of view on the theme. It did not play any major part in the organizing of the event,” the College said.
The funding made by Change NGO was used only to pay for the participations of their two members and was not invested in any other area of the conference.
The College said that the organization was trying to hijack the event for the sole purpose of gaining recognitions in an unscrupulous manner.
