SHILLONG: Unidentified miscreants assaulted the head constable of Lumdiengjri police station on late Tuesday night.The incident happened at around 12.25 am, when head constable W. Marak of Lumdiengjri PS was assaulted with a stone at Jail Road. The cop sustained minor injuries. Police are yet to make any arrests.
