SHILLONG: The Synjuk Ki Nongsynshar Shnong Ka Bri U Hynniewtrep (SKNSKBUH), umbrella body of headmen, has set a two- month deadline to the state government to maintain status quo on service rules and to pass VAB.
A general body meeting of the headmen held on Saturday took a resolution to give a 2 month deadline to the state govt to de-notify the service rules which made it mandatory for government servants to get permission from the govt to function as headmen.
