Upper Shillong Rape Case
SHILLONG: The CSWO(I) under the leadership of Irene Hujon thanked Chief Minister Mukul Sangma and the State Government for accepting their suggestion to appoint Additional Advocate General W.H.D Syngkon as Special Prosecutor in the case related to late Shailinia Kharrymba who was murdered by Vicky Syiemlieh at Saw Mer Shiteng, Upper Shillong on March 17. “The organization is certain that Syngkon who is given the task of conducting the case will do everything in his power to provide justice to the victim and her family”, Hujon said in a statement.
