JOWAI: The Airtel girl people see in television adverts might be getting 4G data service almost everywhere but the same has eluded the people of Nongtalang village for around six months now causing great inconvenience to the residents in need of internet access.
Speaking about the problem a Nongtalang resident, Thomlin Nongpoh said, “I registered a complaint with the company officials but they have failed to rectify the problem despite assurances.” He also informed that the company recently promised to provide 3G facility in the village where even 2G services are not available.
