Los Angeles, Oct 14 (PTI) Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been removed from her community service programme at the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Centre for failing to complete the required number of hours.

The 25-year-old ‘Mean Girls’ actress had to complete 380 hours of community work at the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Centre as part of her sentence for stealing a USD 2,500 necklace in January, but after a very unimpressive performance she was asked to leave, reported TMZ online.

Lohan is said to have failed to show up for nine scheduled visits and when she did work, she often left after one hour instead of the mandated four. She was reassigned to a new community service programme at the Red Cross two weeks ago.

Lohan is due for a progress hearing on October 17, and the judge handling her case has told her in the past that she will not accept any excuses for her not staying on track. Her father, Michael Lohan, has voiced his concern.

“I am concerned about her community service at hand. Her lawyers and I have done all we can to keep her out of jail and the last thing in the world I want to see is her to get violated,” he said. (PTI)
