One person died on the spot after one Maruti Alto car dashed against his scooty at Mawlai GS Road.
Another person died on the spot after a live wire snapped and fell on him at a village in South West Khasi Hills. Police said that the incident happened on October 2 evening during due to a cyclonic storm, when a live 11 KV wire snapped and fell on one Jemen Marak (65) at Tilagaon.
