SHILLONG: Islamia Secondary School defeated Jail Road Boys’ School in the first match of the Inter School Cricket tournament played here on Tuesday. Jail Road Boys won the toss and elected to field while Islamia who batted first scored 128 runs for 9 wickets in 25 over’s. In reply Jail Road Boys managed to make 116 runs all out in 24 over’s losing the match by 12 runs. In the second match, Bhanu Bhakta Secondary School defeated St Edmund’s School by 12 runs. Bhanu Bhakta won the toss and elected to bat first scored 104 all out in 17.5 over’s. While, St Edmund’s managed to score only 92 runs all out in 20.3 over’s.
