One arrested for assaulting female doctor in Nongstoin CS

NONGSTOIN: One Micky Syiemlieh (24) of Pyndengrei village in West Khasi Hills was arrested for assaulting a lady doctor in Nongstoin Civil Hospital on Sunday evening.
According to sources, the accused had come to the hospital along with a patient on Sunday following which the doctor on duty admitted the sick person to the emergency ward and asked Syiemlieh to wait outside. The accused refused to abide by the instruction and subsequently tried to assault the doctor when the latter asked him to buy some medicines.
Pushed to the wall, the female doctor cried for help prompting the chowkidar and others present nearby to rush to the spot.
Later, the police present on the hospital premises apprehended Syiemlieh and an FIR was filed into the incident.
