Hundreds of chemists participate in today’s nationwide bandh

Kolhapur, May 30 (UNI) Several hundred chemists in the district participated in today’s nationwide strike against the Central Government’s decision to sell medicines through online portals. All medical shops in the district downed their shutters today. The strike call was given by All India Organisation of Chemist and Druggists to protest against the Central Government’s decision to sell medicines through online portals. Madan Patil, president of District Chemist Association said that nearly three thousands medical shops in the district remained closed. Meanwhile, a memorandum was submitted to the District Magistrate on the issue. UNI
