SHILLONG: The Dorbar Shnong Mawlai Mawiong has expressed concern over the arrest of the President Seng Longkmie Mawiong Shanka War Pakynteiñ in relation with the assault of one, Darihun Lyngdoh Nonglait on suspicion that the latter had acted in a blue film.

According to the Assistant Rangbah Shnong of Mawiong AS Kharmalki, Pakyntein was arrested by the police last week after a case was filed against her by Darihun who alleged the Seng Longkmie Mawiong chief of humiliating, manhandling and embarrassing her in front of the public.

“Her allegations are baseless and unfounded and it was a way to tarnish the image of the Seng Longkmie. They were doing their job when they caught hold of a Porn Compact Disc (CD) which was enacted by Darihun and which was spread all over Shillong city”, Kharmalki said.

He also claimed that they did not assault Darihun and after enquiring into the matter, it was her own uncle who started to beat her up while adding “Just as a punishment for the shame that she brought to the locality, the Seng Longkmie shaved off her head”.

He also stated that the locality is ever ready to compromise with Darihun’s family members to bring about peace and tranquility in the locality.
