NONGPOH: As a part of its upliftment programme, the Ri Bhoi Youth Organisation (RBYO) on Friday donated the school materials to SOS Children village in Umiam.
Initiated by the RBYO, the school material which was distributed to the SOS children was sponsored by the CMJ Breweries Company under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) scheme of the company.The school material was distributed in the function held in the Auditorium Hall of SOS Children village, where the District School Education Officer, V.S Nongbet was present as chief guest and S. Kharsahnoh as the social workers consented the function as the guest of honour.
