SHILLONG: The National People’s Party (NPP) will release the third list of candidates on Monday.
So far, the party has released the names of 27 candidates who will contest the forthcoming elections.
It is not known as to when the names of sitting legislators will be released.
Prominent names in NPP’s first list of candidates include HS Shylla from Nongkrem, FW Momin from Mendipathar , Nihim D. Shira from Songsak, James K Sangma from Dadenggre and Agatha K. Sangma from South Tura.
Three prominent candidates that featured in the second list are Pyniaid Sing Syiem from Mawryngkneng, Jigur Myrthong from Mawshynrut and Donkupar Massar, a former minister, from Ranikor.
