SHILLONG: NEIGRIHMS has been recognised as a nodal unit in the International Network of Institutes for Medical Ethics Training, UNESCO Chair in Bioethics. It will develop an updated syllabus for medical ethics which will meet the requirements of medical schools globally.
A formal presentation of the Writs from UNESCO will be handed to the members of the founder Steering Committee during the inaugural ceremony at the NEIGRIHMS auditorium at 5 pm on Sunday.
