London: Actress Helena Bonham Carter will be honoured with top British honour Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) and she is dedicating it to her father.

Bonham Carter, who has two children with film director partner Tim Burton, said she is dedicating the honour to her father, who suffered with serious illness for 25 years, after being diagnosed with brain tumour.

“I am wondering does it mean I get to command, because at the moment it’s my four-year-old daughter who does the commanding in our household. Must inform her of the change in situation,” dailymail.co.uk quoted her as saying.

Other show business personalities, who will receive a CBE honour this year would be comedian Ronnie Corbett and broadcaster Clive James. TV presenter Lorraine Kelly receives a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) along with former TV host Stuart Hall. Actor David Harewood will also get an MBE honour. (IANS)
