TURA: The ASWA along with the TGCSU have sought that eligible students are given admission at the Tura Government College and the Higher Secondary Section.

In their memorandum to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma the two student bodies informed that over 700 students who have passed the SSLC and HSSLC have not been given admissions although they had submitted their applications and sat for the entrance test and interview.

The two student bodies urged the Chief Minister to look into the plight of the students and ensure them admissions in the college so as not to discourage and frustrate them.
