JHADC chief Pariat resigns; special session today

JOWAI: JHADC CEM Moonlight Pariat tendered his resignation on Wednesday afternoon.
The District Council Affairs has approved a special session on Thursday to officially elect MB Rymbai as the new JHADC chief.
Pariat has lost majority in the House following the move to oust him from the CEM’s post.
The new executive committee under the leadership of Rymbai would comprise 11 NPP MDCs, eight Congress MDCs including a nominated member and three dissident UDP members.
